National Association for Law Placement (NALP)

Principles & Standards

The National Association for Law Placement ("NALP") sets important ethical standards for law student recruitment and hiring. Virtually all ABA-accredited law schools - including Villanova - are members, as are many legal employers, particularly large private law firms. NALP also provides students with useful empirical data about legal employers who belong to NALP (See NALP Directory of Legal Employers, available on the internet or through Lexis). NALP also collects valuable employment information from graduating law students each year through the annual NALP Graduate Employment Survey.

Villanova Law expects its students and recruiting program employers to abide by NALP Principles and Standards. To review these standards, Click Here.
