New York Interviewing Program For students interested in pursuing summer or full-time positions in New York, Career Strategy sponsors a New York Interviewing Program in early September. A variety of employers participate, including private firms and public service organizations. Interviews take place at the
Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Career Strategy collects applications during the July Resume Drop. Philadelphia "Four In One Law" Placement
Program Co-sponsored by Villanova, University of Pennsylvania Law School, Rutgers University School of Law-Camden, and Temple University Beasley School of Law, the "Four In One" attracts dozens of out-of-state firms, government agencies, and non-profits. Interviews take place in late September, at Penn's campus, at the Lauder Career Center. Students apply during the summer. Career Strategy collects applications in August. Patent Law Interview
Program For students interested in pursuing patent law, Villanova offers the National Patent Law Interview Program sponsored by Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Held in Chicago in early August, the Patent Law Interview Program attracts hundreds of firms from across the United States. Registration begins in February and Career Strategy will keep you informed.
New Hampshire Legal Job Fair
For students interested in pursuing summer or full-time positions in New England, Villanova offers the New Hampshire Legal Job Fair, sponsored by the Franklin Pierce Law Center. Interviews take place in New Hampshire in mid-September. Career Strategy collects applications during July Resume Drop. Dozens of private and public employers participate. Equal Justice Works
(Formerly NAPIL) Public Interest Career Fair Each October, public interest / public service employers from throughout the nation interview students in Washington DC. The Equal Justice Works Career Fair offers opportunities for those interested in the public interest sector to learn more about different fields of work, network with lawyers, attend informational interviews, and schedule interviews with potential employers. Registration information is available through Career Strategy and Equal Justice Works in August. Philadelphia Public Interest/Public Service ("PIPS") Career
Fair The PIPS Career Fair, sponsored by the Consortium of Greater Philadelphia Area Law Schools (including Villanova) and the Public Interest Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association, is held every February in Philadelphia. The PIPS Fair attracts a great assortment of public interest and government employers from the Philadelphia region and beyond. Registration information will be available through Career Strategy beginning in November.
