Recruitment Programs
The "Recruitment Database" is where Career Strategy publishes students about all employment opportunities offered through the following programs. Students receive e-mail reminders to check the database often, as new opportunities are added every day. NOTE: First Year students may apply for jobs after December 1.
"On Campus" Interviewing
Employers interview at the Law School's facility, the Villanova Conference Center. Career Strategy collects and ships student applications for employers according to an employer's deadline. Employers select the students they intend to interview (although they are encouraged to interview all candidates if possible.) Career Strategy schedules interviews at the Conference Center. For the earliest Fall On Campus Interviews, students apply during the July Resume Drop. For later Fall On Campus Interviews, applications are collected in the Career Strategy Office on a rolling basis. For Spring On Campus Interviews, Career Strategy collects
applications beginning in January and on a rolling basis throughout the semester.
"Collecting Resumes"
Many employers prefer to host interviews at their office. For employers who cannot visit our campus, Career Strategy collects and ships application according to their preferred deadlines. Employers (not Career Strategy) arrange interviews directly at the employer's location. The earliest Fall "Collecting Resumes" applications are collected during the July Resume Drop. Later Fall "Collecting Resumes" applications are collected on a rolling basis throughout the Fall Semester. Spring "Collecting Resumes" begins in January and continues throughout the semester.
"Send Directly"
A wide variety of employers prefer that students simply send applications directly to their office, not through the Law School. For "Send Directly" opportunities, students send applications directly to the employers. Employers (not Career Strategy) arrange interviews directly at the employer's location. Students apply according to employer deadlines beginning as early as July or August, and continuing on a rolling basis throughout the school year.
