JD/MBA Students
JD/MBA students are eligible to receive loan funds not only for their JD expenses but also expenses incurred from taking MBA classes during the regular academic year and/or the summer session. Before we can add in the costs for your MBA classes, we must have the following information from you:
- Your acceptance letter into the joint JD/MBA Program
- Your JD/MBA Credits Form
Once we receive this information, we can then determine the amount you will be eligible for and how these funds will be disbursed to you.
If you are borrowing funds for the summer session through the Subsidized and
Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan program, your loan term will be for summer,
fall, and spring and funds will be disbursed to you in three equal disbursements
regardless of the fact that your expenses for summer may be less than your
expenses for the fall and spring semesters. Thus it is your responsibility
to make sure you spend no more for the summer session than is allowed by your
budget which you can see on your Novasis account on the Cost of Attendance
screen.
