Pulling Law Library

The Pulling Law Library contains 280,000 volumes, including an expanding collection of about 757,000 microforms. Extensive periodical materials are kept current with over 1,000 subscriptions, including law reviews and other legal and tax journals. The School of Law subscribes to the LEXIS and WESTLAW computer-assisted legal research systems and provides free access to those data bases to Graduate Tax students. The library is also a member of OCLC, a computerized bibliographic data-base providing on-line catalog information from over 100 major American law library collections.

The Library contains a specialized tax collection of approximately 15,000 volumes that includes extensive legislative material, current tax services, Internal Revenue Service materials and specialized tax treatises. Research librarians have created a series of easy-to-use links to internet-based tax resources through the Law School web page.

Graduate tax students have full use of Library facilities and services, including the law school computer network. Library staff members are available to assist in student research, and to provide instruction in basic computer applications, word processing, computer-assisted legal research, and
electronic communication.

The Library is open 24 hours a day throughout the year to accommodate students. A law school student identification card is required for access to the library.
