Moot Court Information

To all 2L and 3L students:

This is to remind you that all students (except those that are members of Law Review, Environmental Law Journal, and Sports and Entertainment Law Journal) must compete in the Reimel Competition in order to satisfy Villanova Law School's graduation requirements. If you have not already done so, please take a moment to register on NOVASIS for this year's competition. One credit will be awarded in the spring semester upon successful completion of the competition. In addition, students must sign up with the Moot Court Board, details of which are below.

Students participating in the annual Theodore L. Reimel Moot Court Competition for the upcoming academic year must, compete in teams of two, write a brief, and argue twice in the first round of the competition in order to receive credit. Those students advancing to the semi-final round of the Reimel competition will be invited to join the Moot Court Board for the 2005-2006 academic year.

There will be a mandatory meeting regarding this year's Reimel Competition in August, the time and location will be announced in the Gavel Gazette. Participants will be given a partnership form at the meeting to be returned to the Moot Court Office. Those submitting forms as a single participant will be assigned a partner for the competition.

Please do not hesitate to contact the Moot Court Office with any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
