Philadelphia Cares Service Project

Clean-Up Project with Philadelphia Cares
Saturday, August 21st
9:00a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Philadelphia Cares is a non-profit organization that mobilizes people to address the critical social, educational, and environmental needs in the greater Philadelphia region through volunteer action.

Five core values drive Philadelphia Cares’ mission:

  1. Philadelphia Cares believes volunteer service is at the heart of citizenship.

  2. Philadelphia Cares believes that collaborating with individuals, community and faith-based organizations, and businesses is essential to strengthening our community.

  3. Philadelphia Cares believes that volunteers enrich their own lives and the lives of those being served when they address issues important to our community.

  4. Philadelphia Cares believes in providing concerned Philadelphians with flexible and meaningful opportunities to create positive change.

  5. Philadelphia Cares believes that the needs of the community are best met by a diverse corps of volunteers.

Members of the Class of 2007 are invited to participate in this year’s service project in the neighborhood of Philadelphia. We will be cleaning the grounds, painting and doing various repair projects at the Community Center of the Grace Baptist Church.

Due to limited space, sign up will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sign up and additional information will be available at orientation.
