Professor Dellapenna received his B.B.A. with distinction from the University of Michigan and his J.D. cum laude from the Detroit College of Law. He also has an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from the National Law Center, George Washington University and an LL.M. in Environmental Law from Columbia University School of Law. Before joining the faculty in 1976, Professor Dellapenna taught at Willamette University College of Law and the University of Cincinnati College of Law.

Professor Dellapenna’s research and teaching interests focus on water management, Chinese law, international law, comparative law, conflicts of law, and admiralty.
