Judge Gafni received his B.A., B.H.L. from Yeshiva University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. Before joining the faculty in 1994, Judge Gafni was in private law practice, an appellate court clerk, an attorney for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Deputy District Attorney for the City of Philadelphia, and a Judge of the Court of Common Pleas, where he served as Court Administrator of Pennsylvania.

Judge Gafni’s research and teaching interests focus on dispute resolution and trial advocacy.
