Professor Gordon received her B.A. and J.D. from New York University, and her
LL.M. from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences. Following law school, she was a law clerk to the Honorable John L. Kane of the United States District Court. She then was a staff attorney at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law, an associate at Blum, Nash & Railsback in Washington, D.C., and Legal Counsel to Ambassador Robert Van
Lierop. Before joining the faculty in 1990, Professor Gordon was a Revson Fellowship Scholar at The City College of the City University of New York Center for Legal Education & Urban Policy.
Professor Gordon’s research and teaching interests focus on international law and development, international organizations, contracts, international trade, and international human rights.
