Professor Llewellyn received his B.A. and J.D. from Dickinson College, and his LL.M. from New York University School of Law. At Dickinson, he was on the editorial board of the Dickinson Law Review. Following law school, he was in private practice in Pennsylvania. Before joining the faculty in 1980, Professor Llewellyn taught at Nova University Shepard Board Law Center, where he was Acting Dean from 1978 to 1979, the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary, and Willamette College of Law. Professor Llewellyn served as Dean of Graduate Legal Studies from 1986 to 1988 and Director of the Graduate Tax Program from 1980 to 1986.
Professor Llewellyn’s research and teaching interests focus on taxation and estate planning.
