Chair, Pennsylvania Interdisciplinary Committee on Health Related Issues, 1994 to 1996. I drafted proposed legislation to protect the confidentiality and privacy of genetic tests and of information acquired from a genetic test.
Member, Pennsylvania Bar Association Task Force on AIDS, 1987 through 1993. As part of my activities with the AIDS Task Force, I helped draft state legislation that protects the confidentiality of HIV-related information. The legislation was enacted into law in 1991 and is called, "The Confidentiality of HIV-Related Information Act."
