Professor Harris received her B.S. degree from Syracuse University and her J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. She is on leave from the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona where she directs the Domestic Violence Law Clinic. Professor Harris serves as a faculty member for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and the Emory University School of Law, Kessler-Edison Trial Techniques Program. Professor Harris was a clinical instructor at Northwestern University School of Law from 1992 to 1998 and prior to that an attorney for Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation in Alton, Illinois.
Professor Harris' research and teaching interests focus on domestic violence law and policy.
