M. Isabel Medina joins the faculty as a Visiting Professor of Law for the 2004-05 academic year. Professor Medina is a Professor of Law at Loyola University, New Orleans.
Professor Medina received her B.A. from Monash University in Australia, her M.A. and M.F.A. from the University of New Orleans, and her J.D. from Tulane University, where she was the managing editor of the
Tulane Law Review. Before joining the Loyola faculty, she clerked for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and practiced with the Washington, D.C. law firm Arnold & Porter.
Professor Medina teaches Constitutional Law, Employment and Gender Discrimination Law and Immigration Law. Her scholarship focuses in these areas, and she has published in a broad range of journals and scholarly publications.
