VLS Network
The Law Library's computer resources are extensive. Within the Law Library there are 108 networked Pentium III computers available for student use. Many of the Law Library's study carrels are wired with network connections for laptop computers as well. Through the Law School network students can access word processing software, electronic mail, Lexis, Westlaw, the library catalog, the Internet, and several web-based databases, including Congressional Universe, Hein-On-Line, and SSRN, and the information resources of the Villanova University Library. In addition to the general use PCs, there are ten dedicated Lexis and Westlaw terminals in a training room sometimes reserved for database and information resources instruction.
